ImageWith degrees in Chemistry and Conservation Science and Cultural Anthropology, Nkrumah has worked and lectured in several prestigious institutions of heritage and culture in Africa, Europe and the United States. These include the British Museum, (London), the Louvre (Paris), the Prado (Madrid), the Uffizzi Gallery (Florence), the Library of Congress (Washington DC) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York). Currently, the President of the Congress of Cultural Actors of West Africa, Nkrumah’s career as a visiting Professor of Conservation Science has taken him to Conservation Centres such as Churubusco (Mexico City), University of Caracas (Venezuela), University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), University of Copenhagen (Denmark), State University of New York Centre for Conservation of Historic Works of Art (USA), Museum of Cultural History (South Africa), Calouste Gulbenbkian Foundation and Museums (Portugal) and the University of Budapest (Hungary). As a cultural anthropologist, Nkrumah has participated in numerous international conferences on various aspects of cultural development and population affairs. He has several publications to his credit and has treated ,several masterpieces in conservation. He recently retired as the Conservator of the National Museums and Monuments Board in Accra.
