FCA’s reference library is presently housed in our office in the grounds of the W.E.B. Dubois Centre for PanAfrican Culture, Accra. It has over 800 books, magazines and journals covering all aspects of contemporary visual arts. This information resource is unique in Ghana and fulfils a pressing need for art reading materials in Ghana. FCA is deeply grateful to our supporters who have kindly donated reference works and artists catalogues. FCA’s office has computer facilities and internet access, is air conditioned and provides a good place for artists to meet. Food and drinks are available from the Dubois Centre's Roots Bar. The FCA Office is also the venue for regular evening talks with slideshows, hosted by FCA, to enable resident and visiting artists to present and discuss their work in an informal setting. FCA Library supporters include:Australian High Commission (High Commissioner Jon Richardson) |
