FCA's Art in the Garden
Initiated by the Australian writer and artist Virginia Ryan, Art in the Garden is geared towards utilizing private spaces in the city of Accra to exhibit challenging art exhibits, which may not be easily seen in more traditional gallery situations in the city of Accra. Ryan, who is also the Founder/Director of the FCAG, has successfully curated over five Art in the Garden shows. Read reviews.

FCA's Meet the Artist
In 2006 FCA began a series of short evening talks in which artists and the public are invited toMeet the Artist’.The talks, held at the FCA office in the W.E.B.Dubois Centre at 6 pm, give artists an opportunity to present slides and talk about their work in an informal setting. The audiences consist of other artists and people interested in art, both resident and visiting Accra. The evenings generate lively interest and exchanges among the participants.
